Lilly in Charleston

An outfit post without sunglasses?! I feel so exposed! But, that's what happens when you snap a few pictures on the way to an evening out.  An evening out that started with cocktails with bloggers from all over the country and ended with a delicious meal at The Darling.

I picked up this top last week when I wanted something new to wear in Charleston and while it's a little rufflier (okay, not a word, but you get it) than I normally go for, I absolutely loved the print and had to have something in it. The top is a steal at $58 and is a perfect lightweight summer piece. I've also tried it tucked into high waisted white shorts and wedges—also adorable. I know I'll be wearing this as much as I can over the next few weeks...you know, until the end of summer and the end of Lilly season, which is in less than a month, ugh.

Also, this isn't the first time I've flaunted my love for Lilly Pulitzer's bold prints on the blog this summer. Check out this wrap dress I posted last month.  As much as I like to think that the gritty city backdrop provides an interesting contrast to my colorful looks, I may have to admit that these gorgeous, lush Charleston streets seem just a bit more appropriate...
