These (basically) three ingredient meatballs are the easiest appetizer to pull together when you're in a hurry and need a crowd pleaser. They're slightly sweet, slightly spicy, absolutely delicious, and take about two minutes of prep and thirty minutes of hands off cooking.
1 package frozen meatballs (I actually used a meatless version from Gardein!)
1 10 ounce jar of grape jelly
1 16 oz. bottle of ketchup
1 teaspoon chili powder
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Combine jelly, ketchup, and seasoning in a large saucepan. Heat and stir until jelly and ketchup have melted together. Add meatballs and let simmer for 20 to 30 minutes or until cooked through. Enjoy!
While I made these on the stovetop, you can also make them in the crockpot if you just want to toss the ingredients in and leave them. Three hours on low and you should be good to go.
