This past weekend I was in Virginia Beach for a fun and beautiful wedding celebration, and this coming Saturday I'm headed to Charlottesville for another friend's wedding. While I love a good weekend trip, I'll definitely be glad when I'm finally in town for a few weekends and have time to just relax and catch up on errands and such. But, until that happens, here's a recap of my Instagrams during an apparently colorful past few weeks.
Top Row: I've been making smoothies at least once a day and this pina colada inspired smoothie is one of my favorites. Looking for a peach nail polish? I'm loving this one. - Love this classic Elizabeth McKay elephant print top paired with a fresh pair of gold Jack Rogers and this lovely Gorjana bracelet from Rocksbox (I ended up buying this one - use code pineapplesandpearlsxoxo for your first month free!) - I'm obsessed with the giant zip top Boat and Tote Bag from L.L. Bean that I bought to use as a Weekender, and that matches my everyday size tote.
Middle Row: While most of my apartment is full of color, I do like this one little spot that's more muted. These two jars from One Kings Lane hold samples from Birchbox so that I'll actually remember to use them. - A much needed mani-pedi a few weeks ago. - I am so glad I finally got black patent Jack Rogers. They're a nice break from the classic gold and complement bright tops like this perfectly.
Bottom Row: Both of these adorable shorts are from Old Navy, of all places, and at under $20, you definitely need them in your summer wardrobe. - The mini Frappucino might be the most ridiculous thing I've ever seen, but I had to get one just for the novelty of it. This pink print Lilly top, however, is much higher on my list of things I love this summer. - I can't wait to dig into Aliza Licht's book Leave Your Mark. It's definitely motivating for anyone concerned with building a brand.
