For those of you who don't follow me on Instagram (you should!), I pulled together a little recap of my whereabouts over the past month. Apparently it was a colorful month with May flowers in full swing. Now I'm gearing up for a busy June with trips all over Virginia, so make sure to follow along with me. Also, I've made sure to link to pretty much every place and item in these pictures, but let me know if you're curious about anything else!
Side note: if you're looking for Jack Rogers on sale 25% off - check out the Lord and Taylor Friends and Family sale. I love the Liliana Sandal for something a little different or go with the classic.
Top Row: Mars Vida held their launch part at the Embassy Row Hotel's rooftop pool this past weekend and all of their gorgeous new suits should be up on their website soon. There are solid brights with all sorts of striking silhouettes. - The Buttercup Shorts from Lilly Pulitzer are one of my favorites with their adorable scalloped hem. These bright pink nail polish and gorgeous Kendra Scott bracelet from Rocksbox (remember to use code pineapplesandpearlsxoxo for a free month!!) round out the look. - Window boxes in Georgetown. - Sunny sunflowers at Merchants Restaurant in Nashville.
Second Row: Brew at the Zoo in Baltimore was a crowded but perfectly run event. I decided to go with a vintage Lilly skirt for the occasion (lions, it made sense). While I got this years ago, you can check out Tuckernuck's collection of vintage Lilly. - Decisions, decisions for the Gold Cup in The Plains, Virginia. I also love this dress and this one. - The Iroquois Steeplechase in Nashville was blazing hot but my hat kept me cool... sort of. - Tulips, my favorite, outside a church in Georgetown.
Third Row: A late afternoon coffee with Coastal Living and a Minted notebook for jotting down inspiration. - My parents have been hard at work in the garden this spring, but this is from my last trip down to Richmond. Wearing, of course, my favorite white jeans. - My new business cards! - Stripes, always. And a ring and necklace from Rocksbox.
Last Row: I switched up the pillows in my living room a bit. Funny how when everything is bright, it just all seems to coordinate. - A blogger goes on vacay. Of course I needed extra clothes, including this adorable pink top, for outfit posts, and my camera. - This spring has been full of gorgeous early evenings. A new (old) book and my favorite espadrilles. - Another Rocksbox favorite, this one from Gorjana, a universally flattering shade of lipstick (Rose Petal) from Clarins, and a Sail to Sable tunic from several years ago.
