A Modern Take on Fair Isle

I obsessed over this sweater for months. I loved its classic Fair Isle style that popped with starkly contrasted colors. Plus, once I saw Miss LeaAnne make it look both edgy and chic here, I had to have it.

It was sold out online for months (it's back), but in some sort of Christmas miracle, I stumbled across one in store as I was out doing a few post-Christmas exchanges. It has ended up being one of the most versatile pieces in my closet this winter, and I've since worn it both dressed up with a black bow skirt and booties, and dressed down as I did last night for a casual dinner at a mussel bar.

I styled it similarly to the way it's shown online (pictured above) but chose to go with a chambray shirt, black vest, and black leggings. It was a perfect lazy Monday off work kind of outfit with just a bit of apres ski thrown in. On the apres ski note, I hope everyone is enjoying a nice snow day/work from home and watch the snow day!
