Little Black Dress

Don't forget, you have until midnight tonight to enter my Happy Clam Monogram giveaway

Sorry for the blogging absence over the past week. I was away for 6 days and kind of expected I would have downtime and reliable wireless internet to keep up the blogging, but that was definitely not the case! Regardless, I'm now well rested and enjoying my day off for President's Day to get back into the swing of things. Now, on to more important matters.

I always love seeing how other people wore the same pieces as me, so I was excited to notice that one of the girls on Classy Girls Wear Pearls (Sarah Vickers' style blog - you may recognize her from Kiel James Patrick) was wearing my favorite little black dress.

I wore the same adorable Jack Wills dress during a wedding weekend in Atlanta last month and again last weekend for a gala in DC. It has such a fun shape with a full skirt and a low scooped back with a big bow. In Atlanta, I actually opted for red shoes just like the girl above, though I wore mine with black tights and big pearl drop earrings. In DC, I wore black and gold tights with my all time favorite black Coach pumps and a gold envelope clutch with a gold chain. I wish I had a picture from either evening to show the looks, but here are a few of the pieces:

Red Bow Pumps. My favorite shoes ever.

Black and Gold Polka Dot Tights. These are so fun for holiday and winter events.

Gold Envelope Clutch/Purse. I've featured it before and it's still my favorite evening purse. Plus, it's only $24.99 but looks way more high end.
Pearl Drop Earrings. Mine are slightly different with a pave gold ball at the top rather than bows, but I bought them in some random little boutique in Traverse City, Michigan and can't find a source. These are just as cute and pretty much the exact same look.
Also, while I was searching for images of these items, I found these adorable bow tights. How cute would these be with an LBD?
