Product Friday

I usually don't feature beauty products on this blog, but there are three that I've been really into lately:

1. I have always been obsessed with gardenia based perfumes. There was a Kate Spade perfume a few years back that had a strong note of gardenia - I never bought it and it has since been discontinued. I've been on the hunt ever since. (The other reason I love gardenia is that I was way too into My Little Pony's as a child and had the MLP "Perfume Palace" which I guess was like the Pony beauty salon? Anyway, it had a perfume spritzer on the top that smelled of gardenia. So began my love.)
The other day, on a whim, I typed in "gardenia perfume" on google and found the perfume below. A perfume actually called gardenia? Perfect. I wouldn't be able to smell it first, but I figured it was worth the gamble. I received it this past week and loooove it. Just what I was looking for.
 2. Some people in my family were blessed with skin that turns super dark the minute they put on a bikini. I was not. Instead, I hide under a hat and huge sunglasses anytime I step out in the sun. Thank god my dermatologist introduced me to La Roche-Posay Anthelios Light Sunscreen Fluid SPF 60. It's basically the consistency of milk and dries completely matte. Yes, I'm the girl that wears SPF 60 everyday but maybe that just means I'll be wrinkle free at 50.

3. I stumbled upon Blistex Restore Revive at CVS a couple weeks ago and am so glad I did. It's two pots that lock together - one for night, one for day. They both leave your lips super soft and oblivious me actually didn't read the instructions that indicate one is for night, one for day so for several days I was just layering them both. I still do that because it seems to make my lips the softest. Plus, I love both smells and the packaging looks so soothing.

  1. When it comes to perfumes, I'm in love with all Nina Ricci smells, and I have to say I don't have any idea why.

You have a really cool blog here. Do you want to follow each other, I would love that.
